Your stories. Your shop. Your sponsors. Meet Locked In.
Mike Gogno, Founder @ ProductBloom · Oct 27, 2026
Locked In is a Shopify theme for creators, podcasts and sports media brands that want their publication and store to work together. Publish stories, sell products, run a podcast and manage direct sponsorships from one Shopify store, with an ad system built into the theme.
Built by ProductBloom
ProductBloom is a product design agency. We help brands turn ideas into products, from the identity and user experience through to the finished build. We also design and build custom Shopify themes, including Locked In, and help businesses adapt them to their brand.
We approach a theme as a working product. The decisions go beyond type and color: what deserves attention, how readers find the next story, where a sponsor fits, and how someone gets from a product page to checkout.
Locked In brings those decisions into a theme you can make your own. Start with a style, adjust it in Shopify’s theme editor, and bring us in if you need installation, branding or custom sections.
Who Locked In is for
Locked In is built around businesses where content and commerce belong together:
| Your business | What you can bring together |
|---|---|
| Sports publication or media brand | Stories, merchandise, sponsor placements and a media kit. |
| Podcast | Episode pages, audio or video, show notes, sponsors and a shop. |
| Creator or influencer | Editorial content, products, services and brand partnerships. |
| Scout or coach | A portfolio, résumé, stories and services available through checkout. |
| Merch shop | Product collections and spotlights, with room for stories and sponsors. |
You don’t need to use every part. Remove the sections you don’t need and build around the way your business actually works.
Sell sponsorships on Shopify, on your own terms
Locked In includes seven ad placement sizes, plus a site-wide “presented by” title sponsor. You manage the placements in Shopify’s theme editor. There’s no ad network involved and no additional app needed to run the ads.
Upload finished artwork or type a headline. Set the destination link, choose the colors and schedule start and end dates. If several sponsors share a slot, weighted rotation lets you control how often each one appears.
The system also includes UTM tagging on sponsor links and first-party events. Every ad is clearly labeled, and the Partners / media kit page gives prospective sponsors live ad specifications.
For editorial placements, you can insert an ad after a chosen paragraph in a story. That gives you control over where the sponsorship appears within the reading experience.
A Shopify theme for podcasts, with room for the whole show
On Air is the podcast edition of Locked In. It gives each episode its own post, player and show notes, alongside host information and a sponsor strip on every episode.
You can use a direct audio link, paste an embed from your podcast host, or add a YouTube or Vimeo video that loads when clicked. Listen links use labels you choose.
Episodes sit alongside the rest of your store: merchandise, services, stories and partners.
Give stories, services and products their own space
Long-form stories include read time, reading progress and in-story ad placements. A services page can connect services to products so customers can purchase them through Shopify checkout. A printable résumé page gives scouts, coaches and other professionals a place to present their experience.
For merchandise, you can use standard product photography or upload cutout images that sit against your brand colors. A Product spotlight section and five selectable hover animations give featured products more presence. Choose a cart drawer or a dedicated cart page.
The hero is flexible, too. Put stories, a product, an image, stats, video or a signup on the right side. Card artwork can use an image, badge letters, a generated pattern or no artwork, with optional holographic shine and tilt.
Five styles. Choose the starting point that fits.
Every purchase includes all five styles, including the podcast edition.
| Style | Direction | Preview |
|---|---|---|
| The Press | Warm paper, flare orange and a story-led layout. | View The Press |
| Night Run | A dark base, volt accents and square corners. | View Night Run |
| Clay | Earth tones, softer corners and a shop-first layout. | View Clay |
| Ice Time | Cool blues and a full-width dark hero. | View Ice Time |
| On Air | A podcast layout with episodes, a player and video. | View On Air |

What your $200 includes
Locked In is a one-time theme purchase. It includes:
- Five theme ZIPs, one for each style, including On Air. Each opens with sample content matching its live preview.
- Sample content and a product import file, including stories, episodes, products and sponsor examples to help you get oriented.
- An illustrated installation guide, available as a PDF and web page.
- The design system and tokens.
- Font licenses for Big Shoulders Display, Schibsted Grotesk, Newsreader and Martian Mono, all under SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- 12 months of theme updates from your purchase date.
Sample photos are CC0 or public domain. Replace them with your own as you build out the store.
One license covers one live store, along with its development and staging copies. Each additional store needs its own license. The $200 price covers the theme; your Shopify plan is separate.
To install it, unzip the download, go to Online Store → Themes in Shopify, and choose Add theme → Upload zip file. Upload the ZIP for your chosen style, then click Customize. The Sample Content guide takes about 10 minutes to import products and create pages before you add your brand.

Recommend Locked In. Earn up to $40 per sale.
If your audience includes creators, store owners or people building media brands, Locked In gives you something specific to recommend: a $200 Shopify theme that brings publishing, products, podcasts and direct sponsorships together.
Our affiliate program pays 20% commission. That’s $40 for every full-price sale through your affiliate link. A discounted sale earns a smaller commission.
A newsletter writer can introduce it to readers building their own publications. A Shopify designer or developer can recommend it when it suits a client’s project. A creator can show how the podcast or sponsorship features work for the kind of business their audience wants to build.

Questions
Do I need a blog, podcast and shop to use Locked In?
No. Pages are built from sections, so you can remove the parts you don’t need. Start with the content or products you have and configure the theme around them.
Do I need another app to run sponsor ads?
No. The ad system is built into the theme. You manage placements, artwork, links, scheduling and weighted rotation in Shopify’s theme editor. You arrange the sponsorships yourself.
Is Locked In a subscription?
No. The theme costs $200, one time, and includes 12 months of updates. Your Shopify subscription is separate. A license covers one live store and its development and staging copies.
Can ProductBloom set it up for me?
Yes. We can install the theme, adapt it to your brand and build custom sections. Start a project at productbloom.io/start and tell us what you’re building.
What is the refund policy?
Purchases aren’t refundable once the files have been downloaded. If the theme doesn’t work as described, email hello@productbloom.io within 72 hours of purchase. If we can’t fix the issue, you’ll receive a refund. You can find previous downloads through your Lemon Squeezy order email or your Lemon Squeezy orders page.
How much can I earn as an affiliate?
The commission is 20%, which is $40 on a full-price $200 sale. Discounts reduce the commission. Sign up through Lemon Squeezy, get your affiliate link and share it with your audience. Lemon Squeezy handles referral tracking and payouts.
